The dark streets of New York soon become a hiding place of the rising worry of his mother for her son. He cannot go home, and his only escape from the reality of the streets is heroin for which he steals, robs and to itself prostitutes. After another hard night in McCool, the bartender Randy hits the Jewel. The appealing lady seems to have avoided a rape rather nearly and when the man comes back, she puts a bullet in the head.
