John Murdoch wakes up only in a strange hotel to think that he has lost his memory and is wanted for a series of brutal and strange murders. Trying to the piece together his past, he stumbles on a diabolical underworld controlled by a group of beings known as the Strangers who possess the aptitude to put the people to sleep and to change the city and his inhabitants. Now Murdoch must find a way of stopping them before they take the control of his mind and destroy him.
