By answering an obviously impossible conundrum, Perseus, the son of Zeus, earns the hand of princess Andromeda in marriage. Problem appears in the form of Calibos, the ancient love of the princess and her mother, the goddess Thetis. So that feared Kraken not to be liberated, Andromeda must be sacrificed and Perseus searches Medusa; the head is the only thing which can stop Kraken.

But the Knights have to accomplish a final order before they are free. A Roman priest and his family, especially his son Alecto, must be saved from the intrusive Saxons. But there is another danger hiding on the road from freedom - Woads, British rebels who detest the Romans.

This is the spring 480 B.C., the Persian King Xerxes, following the plan the director of his father Dariu to conquer the cities - been Hellenic, it comes to Hellas. The previous Persian invasion and the diplomatic tries tribes have already turned Hellas more north and been nearby Persian.
