Shakespeare’s classical history of novel and tragedy. Two Verona’s families, Montagues and Capulets, are told off to the one with other one during years. Young charmer Montague goes with his friends to make problem to a party which Capulets receives, but while there it the spies the girl Juliet du Capulet and falls hopelessly loving her. It returns its diseases, but they both know that their families will never allow them to follow the hearts.

Exceed the police officer of London, the computer Nicholas Angel (Pegg) is good. Too good. And to stop the rest of his team seeming poor, it is re-allocated in the silent city of Sandford. This movie transplants the classic story *quot; of Romeo and Juliet*quot; to the City of New York in the 1950’s. Two families fight that they are substituted by groups of street fight. The Montagues are the Angle’s Jets, driven by the Musical Repeated Sentence (Russ Tamblyn), and the Capulets are the Sharks Rican Portorriquenhos, driven by Bernardine (George Chakiris). In a dance, Tony (Richard Beymer), ancient leader of the Jets and better friend of Musical Repeated Sentence, and Maria (Natalie Wood), Bernardo’s small sister, sees one to other through the room and it is a love at first sight. With the opposition of both sides, them they meet secretly and his love becomes more deep. Nevertheless, the groups are drawing a last crash, a struggle that will finish finally the battle for the control of the streets. Do Will Tony and Maria’s love finish a battle that it threatens in spite of destroying the people whom they love around them?
