The Montagues are the Angle’s Jets, driven by the Musical Repeated Sentence (Russ Tamblyn), and the Capulets are the Sharks Rican Portorriquenhos, driven by Bernardine (George Chakiris). In a dance, Tony (Richard Beymer), ancient leader of the Jets and better friend of Musical Repeated Sentence, and Maria (Natalie Wood), Bernardo’s small sister, sees one to other through the room and it is a love at first sight. With the opposition of both sides, them they meet secretly and his love becomes more deep.
