In 1896, a building engineer of the British army, J. H. Patterson (Kilmer) is sent to build a railway bridge about Tsavo of Uganda river for the British East African railway. The film is in charge of the situation of British prisoners of war during the Second World war who are ordered to construct a bridge to lodge the railway of Burma-Siam. Microphone and his friend Sheryl travel from Virginia to the lake Kimbrabow state park in West Virginia to spend the weekend walking and camping in the woods.
