Fifteen deaf patients took part in an experimental clinical trail aimed at hearing restoration. Within a few days, fourteen of the fifteen participants in the trial becomes violently psychotic, ultimately taking their lives to stop violent side effects caused by treatment. This is the story of the only survivors of the experiment, Patient # 14 - Liza Raines, participating in the experiment gave her super-normal hearing abilities - especially the ability to hear frequencies emitted by the brain, where it believes. When her life is suddenly thrown into danger, Liza is forced to use her ability against those who have to cover up the fact that she even existed.

Karen Davis is a woman who resides in Japan with his fiancé, who studies there.
