A man in a complaint in an enterprise of Manhattan leaves work on Friday; he looks unhappy. He stops in a foreteller for a Tarock reading: *quot; they are not where you belong, *quot; if she tells to him. In this evening he leaves his marriage and walks the streets of New York, from a first-class bar to a club of man, then to high-class bordello, to a mugging, a pawnshop, and a guest going where somebody really hears. He divides his insights with her and later with others. Power, disappointment, and musings embrace because Edmond loses his mooring, while he believes that he has found them. Where does he belong?.

Ein Mann in einer Klage an einem Unternehmen von Manhattan verlässt Arbeit am Freitag; er sieht unglücklich aus. Er hält an einem Wahrsager für ein Tarock-Lesen an: "Sie sind nicht, wo Sie gehören," erzählt sie ihm. An diesem Abend verlässt er seine Ehe und Spaziergänge die Straßen New Yorks, von einer Klasse Bar bis einen Klub eines Herrn, dann zu einem erstklassigen bordello, einem Straßenraub, einem Leihhaus, und einem Tischgast gehend, wo jemand wirklich hört. Chumscrubber leaves with Troy, a normal teenager who provides *quot; sense of bons*quot; having constricted in each in his secondary school (this way it spreads happiness all around). Le Chumscrubber part avec le Troy, un adolescent normal qui fournit "le sens des bons" comprimés à chacun dans son collège (cette voie il étend le bonheur tout autour). Mais quand son Doyen d’ami lui rend visite, le Doyen découvre que le Troy s’est suspendu dans sa chambre à coucher pendant un des partis de piscine de sa mère. Après la mort, trois adolescence locale : la Baguette, le Côté sous le vent et le Cristal, veut ce qui est quitté de la cachette de Troy de comprimés et ils savent que le Doyen est le seul qui sait où ils sont. Mais quand le Doyen refuse de recevoir les comprimés, la trois adolescence enlève le petit frère de Doyen, jusqu’à ce qu’ils se rendent compte qu’ils ont enlevé le gamin faux.

Pollyanna is a young orphan with a positive, cheerful personality who comes to live with her rich men, filled with bitterness, aunt of single man. Elle présente chacun à son préféré de père de pasteur "le Jeu Content" et finit par devenir transformer pas seulement la vie de sa tante, mais la ville entière. Quand l’altruiste, en voulant Pollyanna est sévèrement blessé dans un accident, sa trempette d’humeur non d’une manière caractéristique et le rassemblement de citadins autour de pour l’aider à récupérer sa perspective, se réjouir dans Dieu et chercher le bien.

Un, un tueur professionnel de la Hongrie, découvre qu’elle a un coeur. L’autre, une fille d’appel de première qualité de la Chine, est trahi par l’homme qui lui a promis une fin de fairytale qu’elle ne pouvait jamais avoir. Ces deux croix de vies féministe dans le ‘Paris excitant de l’Orient’ et d’une amitié est cachetée pour toujours comme ils s’aident les obstacles surmontés dans leur sentier au vrai bonheur.
