The farmer Hoggett earns a piglet of runt to a local equitable and young Baby, as the piglet decides to be called, helps and learns all other creatures about the farm. He becomes special friends with one of the sheepdogs, the Fly. With the help of Fly and the intuition of farmer Hoggett, the Baby undertakes a career in sheepherding with a little of surprise and spectacular results.
