With the end of the American Civil War, manufacturers of repeating rifles find a profitable way of making money selling the weapons to the North American Indians, using the front man John Lattimer to sell rifles to the Cheyenne. While traveling in a diligence with Calamity Jane and William "Buffalo Bill" Cody and his young wife Louisa Cody who plan to settle in the management of a hotel in the city Hays, Wild Bill Hickok check the guide Breezy injured by arrows and saying that Indians are attacking strong using repeating rifles.
