A member of an aristocratic British rich family, Lara Croft is *quot; an invader of túmulo*quot; what likes joining ancient products of ruins of temples, cities, etc.. in the whole world, and one does not remember of crossing dangers they challenge the death of acquiring them. Lara results to think which key hidden in a wall of his mansion. The Illuminati steal it, and Lara acquires an old letter of his father when of what says it of the diary of the society (His father was also what hid the key) died. Now, she must recover the key and find and destroy the talisman before the Illuminati can acquire his hands in him.

Ela é experimentada em combate corpo a corpo, treinamento de armas, e línguas estrangeiras - e faz todos eles em equipamentos apertados. Bem, os planetas do sistema solar estão entrando no alinhamento planetário (Que ocorre cada 5.000 anos), e uma sociedade secreta chamou o Illuminati está buscando um talismã antigo que dá ao seu possessor a capacidade de controlar o tempo. Contudo, eles precisam de certo relógio/chave para ajudá-los na sua pesquisa, e eles têm de encontrar o talismã durante uma semana ou esperar até o seguinte alinhamento planetário para encontrá-lo novamente. Lara resulta encontrar que chave escondido em uma parede da sua mansão. Os Illuminati roubam-no, e Lara adquire-se uma velha carta do seu pai de falecido que a diz da agenda da sociedade (O seu pai foi também aquele que escondeu a chave). Agora, ela deve recuperar a chave e encontrar e destruir o talismã antes de que o Illuminati possa adquirir-se as suas mãos nele.
