Jesse and Chester, two stoners acting clumsily, wake up one morning of a night of partying and cannot remember where they parked their car which encourages them on a trip to find it and along the way, they meet a variety of people who include their angry girlfriends Wilma and Wanda the home of which they vandalized, a gang angry at the street, a transexual hounding stripper them for a complete suitcase of stolen silver, a worship of research fanatics.
Jesse et Chester, deux stoners agissant maladroitement, se réveillent un matin d’une nuit de partying et ne peuvent pas se souvenir où ils ont garé leur voiture qui les incite sur un voyage à le trouver et le long de la voie, ils rencontrent une variété des gens qui incluent leurs petites amies furieuses Wilma et Wanda dont ils ont saccagé la maison, un gang furieux de la rue, un strip-teaseur transexual hounding eux pour une valise complète d’argent volé, un culte de fanatiques de recherche étrangers et d’un groupe d’étrangers dans la forme humaine cherchant un mystique.
