The movie is on the life of the Tarzã. The Tarzã was a small orphan who was lifted by called Kala of a monkey since he was childish. He believed that this went to his family, but in an expedition Jane Porter is rescued by the Tarzã. He then discovers that he is human. Now the Tarzã must take the decision as for which family he must belong to.

But as a mind he cannot be seen or be belonged by the life, and thus he tries to communicate, with Molly by Oda Mae Braun, a medium which even did not understand that her powers were real.

In the course of 1870s, the captain Nathan Algren, a cynical veteran of American Civil war who will work for somebody, is hired by the Americans who want the profitable contracts with the Emperor of Japan to draw away the conscripts of peasant for the first real imperial army in modern war by using guns. The first preference of the office imperial Omura is to suppress a rebellion of traditionalist Samurai - warlike hereditary - who remain dedicated to sacred dynasty, but reject policy Occidentalisante and refuse guns even.
