The film says an intriguing history of the dark and dangerous streets of Essex, where medicament, guns and murder are wholly natural for many persons. Jason Locke (Sean Bean) is a boss of crime who goes out of the prison and comes back to Essex to recover the power on criminal Hell of the city. Locke is a hot-tempered, half senseless man who can kill somebody in his way without the thought of instant and on top of that he is so distrustful what does not trust even his wife, Lisa (Alex Kingstone). However, to recover his old influence is no easy question as it seems to be.
