Code 46 is a love story sentence in a courageous new future close to world type where controls cities hard and only by checkpoints become accessible. People cannot travel unless they *quot; papelles*quot;, a special travel permission spent from the totalitarianistic government, *quot; Sphinx*quot; have. Beyond these cities the desert has taken over, and shantytowns are become stuck with non-citizens - people without papelles made live primitive lives. William is Familienmann who works as a government investigator. If he is sent to Shanghai to solve a case of the forgery papelles, he meets a woman called Maria. Although he understands that she is behind the forgeries, he cannot help, completely falls in love in them to fall. He hides her crime, and they have a wild, passionate affair which can last only so long his papelles: 24 hours. Back home is William obessed with the memory of Maria. If the original investigation is reopened one week later without fail and is sent back William to finish the work which he started, he finds them to discover only that it has been accused of a violation of the code 46, and other respect is impossible.

As a famous geisha she enters a society of wealth, privilege and political intrigue. As jobs to be weaved of Second World war Japan and the world of the geisha are forever changed by the attack of history.

In the course of 1870s, the captain Nathan Algren, a cynical veteran of American Civil war who will work for somebody, is hired by the Americans who want the profitable contracts with the Emperor of Japan to draw away the conscripts of peasant for the first real imperial army in modern war by using guns. The first preference of the office imperial Omura is to suppress a rebellion of traditionalist Samurai - warlike hereditary - who remain dedicated to sacred dynasty, but reject policy Occidentalisante and refuse guns even. However when its upper badly prepared force sets off too much soon, their panic allows the samurai throwing out sword to crush them. The audacious market booth of Algren seriously injured makes the leader of samurai Katsumoto spare its life; once treated in health he learns to know and to respect the old Japanese way and participle as the adviser on probation missed by Katsumoto to save tradition Bushido, but made Omura give a ruling laws of suppression - he must now want to honour his fidelity in one of the musty sides when conflict returns to the battlefield.
