Mr.. Cedric Brown (Colin Firth) has just lost his wife and he is left now with his seven children who behave badly so much that all the babysitters have escaped. Now he says to him a mysterious voice that he should obtain to the Babysitter McPhee (Emma Thompson) who is a magic woman with special power.
