Ten years ago some worse atrocities in the history of the humanity happened in the country of Rwanda - and in an age of rapid communication and at any time news, the events were almost unnoticed for the rest of the world. In only three months, a million persons was in a brutal way murdered. Before these unspeakable actions inspired by his love for his family, an ordinary man summons the extraordinary courage to save the lives of more than thousand defenseless refugees, granting them shelters in the hotel that he handles.

In a warm evening in September university professor Ethan Learner, his Mrs. Grace, and her daughter Emma are present at a solo concert. Their 10-year-old son Josh plays the cello *mdash; nicely, how normally. His younger sister looks up to him, and his parents are proud of her son. On the return journey they stop everything in a filling station on the doubt street. There, at an awful moment, he is taken by them for good. In a warm evening in September law partners Dwight Arno and his 11-year-old son Lucas are present at a baseball play. Their favorite team, the red socks, plays - and hopefully on the world row shutting. Dwight estimates his time spent with Lucas.
