John Rambo is removed of the prison by his ancient superior, Coronel Samuel Troutman, for a secret operation to return the POW’S still maintained in the Vietnam. The nomination of Rambo only must take pictures of where the POWs they are being maintained, but the POWs wants to acquire Rambo out of the Vietnam. When Co Bao was grouped with the feminine fighter of Vietnamese freedom, Rambo undertakes a mission to rescue the POWs, whom they are being maintained by the Vietnamese sadistic Captain Vinh and his Russian comrade, Colonel of Lieutenant Padovsky. The Rambo falls in the love with Co Bao, and when Co Bao is killed by the Captain Vinh, Rambo wants the vengeance, so he begins to kill each enemy to the sight still concentrating in his intentions of rescuing the POWs. There are also the American corrupt officials implicated in the mission, including Marshall Murdock, one of superiors of Rambo.

John Rambo é retirado da prisão pelo seu antigo superior, Coronel Samuel Troutman, para uma operação secreta para devolver o POW’S ainda mantido no Vietnam.
