While it travels by the train, around his grandfather in Jamshedpur to visit born Calcutta Bengale speech Ashoke Ganguli meets the Fellow-passenger, Ghosh which does impression on him to travel, while Ashoke is deep in a book authored by Nicholai Gogol. The second spot them travel to India, is if Gogol and Sonia are at her late teenager’s age, and after an unforgettable visit in Kolkata and then in the Taj Mahal, they return home. Gogol falls in love with Maxine Ratliff and moves in with her family, while Ashoke time spends travelling, and to itself Sonia to California moved, Ashima everything them only leaving. The Ganguli family is determined to travel to India again soon - this spot under very different relations - and has suffered, in the end, life changing events.
