Dalton is *quot; a bucket in glace*quot; specialized - a bouncer of bar who can divide conflicts without accepting person killed in process. Dalton is hurt on his first night on job and treated by Elizabeth *quot; the Doctor Clay*quot; the local doctor. Dalton and Doctor soon fall in love one of other one and it gets angry Brad Wesley, a boss of crime with whom the Doctor was once implicated with - and can always be involved. Wesley is also representative for a lot of violence in Double Equality and for some time, Wesley had the sheriff in his pocket, by giving it the complete control of the city of Jasper. Wesley went out to get rid of Dalton, who has already made certain friends in Jasper - Dalton rented a room of a man called Emmet and helped the owner of local store of parties of auto Webster Rouge and also helped Pete Stroudenmire, the owner of Ford Stroudenmire, a local motorized concession.
