Ryan (Greg Cipes) is a lion who wants to go to the wild, where his papa (Samson, expressed by Keifer Sutherland) once lived. When it makes send in Africa, his friends of zoo (and Samson) collaborate to bring it back. When they arrive in Africa, however, the animals are in a heap of danger. They have to struggle an evil wildebeest called Kazar (William Shatner). But the safe of Kazar was comparable in the other danger on the island - a volcano it is on the edge of eruption. Can the animals find Ryan and go out of Africa before the volcano enters eruption in if not enough time?.
