Girls! Girls! (1962)'; Glenn Ford in 'The Courtship of Eddie's Father (1963)'; Jerry Lewis in 'The Nutty Professor (1963)'; and Dean Martin in 'The Silencers (1966)'. She appeared on Television in "Surfside Six (1960"; "Ben Casey (1961)" and the soap "General Hospital (1963)". But by the late 60s her career had leveled off and she was appearing in roles based on her looks. One of her best performances at that time was in the movie 'The Ballad of Cable Hogue (1970)', where she played Hildy, and showed that her talent was more than physical. But then she appeared in a movie like 'Slaughter (1972)'. In the 70s and 80s, Stella became a fixture in movies made for television and appeared in a number of Television series. Linda Blair plays Carol, a young woman who must serve 18 months in prison after killing a man (by accident). The prison turns out to be brimming with decadence, corruption and sleaze, where the other female inmates are sadistic crack-selling lesbian rapists and the guards and warden are no better. Racial tensions are high as the inmates is divided into two factions, blacks and whites, who must either join together against the management or kill each other trying. A sleazy blend of sexploitation and blaxploitation make this movie a real winner. |

Sherman Klump is an incredibly fat and good-hearted man. He is a college professor on the verge of a breakthrough in DNA restructuring when he meets an admirer of his, named Carla, who is a teacher new to Klump's college. He is enamored of her, but is frustrated by his tremendous bulk. He then decides to test a formula on which he's been working on himself. He is then transformed into the lecherous swinger, Buddy Love, and romantic complications ensue. |
