Steve Zissou, the marine film author Jacques Cousteau, has the reason to be melancholic: his partner was eaten, perhaps by a crook of mythical jaguar, his wife can become attached to her former spouse, a young man seems applying that Steve is his father (Steve detests fathers), his films the most recent have tanked, he has problem by raising silver for her adventure to take revenge on his partner and he is attracted to a correspondent surrounding wall which prefers the candidate. In sea, in pursuit of the crook, will it avoid the pirates and mutiny, forge the obligations of fatherhood, put the arm around his wife, to find the monster of the deep, to restore the hegemony of counter and to discover a reason to smile?.
Steve Zissou, le film marin auteur Jacques Cousteau la, a la raison d’être mélancolique : son partenaire a été mangé, peut-être par un aigrefin de jaguar mythique, sa femme peut s’attacher à son ancien mari, un jeune homme semble faisant une demande que Steve est son père (Steve déteste des pères), ses films les le plus récents ont tanked, il a le problème en levant l’argent pour son aventure pour se venger de son partenaire et il est attiré à un correspondant enceinte qui préfère le prétendant. En mer, dans la poursuite de l’aigrefin, échappera-t-il aux pirates et à la mutinerie, forgera les obligations de paternité, placera son bras autour de sa femme, trouver le monstre du profond, rétablir l’hégémonie de guichet et découvrir une raison de sourire ?.
