Thomas (Edward Furlong) is a young computer scientist who crosses most sound (the spare part?) the time on the net. He notes regularly on Cathy’s site and runs obviously a very strong - but platonic! - the report with her: they see each other only by webcams. Once while Thomas is connected, Cathy is assassinated under the eyes. But when he calls the police to try “to do something” he realises that he does not make even supporting his “real” name or adress. Obviously the only witness, Thomas will soon think he is implicating in the inquiry held by Clear (Emilia Fox) a young policeman also the specialist of web. Together they will discover in the real world as well as in the virtual, the very strange things.
Thomas (Edward Furlong) est un jeune informaticien qui passe la plupart de son (la pièce de rechange ?) le temps sur le filet. Il note régulièrement sur le site de Cathy et dirige apparemment un très fort - mais platonique! - le rapport avec elle : ils se voient seulement par webcams. Un jour, pendant que Thomas est raccordé, Cathy est assassinée sous ses yeux. Mais quand il appelle la police pour essayer “de faire quelque chose” il se rend compte qu’il ne fait pas même maintenant son nom “réel” ou adress. Apparemment le seul témoin, Thomas se trouvera bientôt impliqué dans l’enquête tenu par Claire (Emilia Fox) un jeune agent de police aussi le spécialiste de web. Ensemble ils découvriront dans le monde réel aussi bien que dans le virtuel, les choses très bizarres.
