In the Secondary school of John Hughes, the students are the same as almost every other teenager in teenager’s film. Popular Jock, Jake (Chris Evans), takes an opinion of Austin, the guy of fair-haired man being enough (Eric Christian Olsen), that he can transform Janey, the rather nasty girl (Chyler Leigh), in the queen of students’ ball before students’ ball.
