Biography: A graduate of the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts, Pidgeon made her Broadway debut in David Mamet's "The Old Neighborhood." She has two children with husband Mamet: Clara and Noah. Also a singer-songwriter, Pidgeon has recorded two albums with the British folk-pop group Ruby Blue. Her solo albums are "The Raven," "The New York Girl's Club" and "Four Marys."

David Mamet takes this history of thieves along many twists and turns, among which some people work and among which some people do not make. Gene Hackman plays the leader shining with a gang (Delroy Lindo, Ricky Jay and Rebecca Pigeon as the rather young woman of Hackman), who takes away complex thefts for a vile fence (DANNY DEVITO). Afterwards stiffing the gang on a theft of jewelry, DeVito forces the gang to go after a Swiss gold load and use the nephew (Sam Rockwell) in crime. Nobody trusts anybody and every step is overshadowed with the unforeseen.

History follows Mirabelle, a disabused seller and an inhaling artist who sells gloves and attachments to a store.
