Melissa Carter was born and raised in Otterburn Park, Quebec, not too far from Montreal. Daughter of Katherine a school teacher and Michel a crown prosecutor. She grew up with two brothers, Karl and Daniel. She started her career in community theater at the age of 14. She grew up with two brothers, Karl and Daniel. She started her career in community theater at the age of 14. Her high school teacher was a huge influence on her and she later went on to study theater at Dawson College (the Dome theater). She finally jumped from theater to Film in Confessions of a dangerous mind. She has since work on other films such as Taking lives, The Woods and The Greatest Game Ever Played. She's presently auditioning in Montreal, Quebec where she lives. She enjoys kick boxing and rock climbing.
