For twelve years, the agent methodical IRF Harold Crick has had an alone routine life directed by his clock of bracelet. Nevertheless, one day he hears the story of his life in far, saying that he is going to die quite prompt. Meanwhile, he checks Ann Pascal, the proprietor of a bakery who is indebted to the IRF, and falls won the love for her. The Teacher Jules Hilbert advises to Harold to change his monotonous life style while he tries to think Karen Eiffel, the author of the history of his life, that he investigates ways of killing the character, and they convince her to change the end of the history.
Durante doce años, el agente IRF metódico Harold Crick ha tenido una vida sola rutinaria dirigida por su reloj de pulsera. Sin embargo, un día él oye la narración de su vida en lejos, diciendo que él va a morir bastante pronto. Mientras tanto, él revisa a Ana Pascal, el dueño de una panadería que es endeudada con el IRF, y caídas enamoradas para ella.
