The architect Michael Newman has a family of the typical middle class with his charming wife and magnificent Donna and his son Ben and daughter Samantha, and a constant visit of his parents. Nevertheless, Michael is the addict to the work and under the tension, trying to satisfy his chief per hours and to obtain a society in his company, meeting to the priority on his work and neglecting the family questions. When tired Michael goes to a few big stores to buy a control over a distance universally, he rests in a bed and he finds the strange clerk Morty who offers him a control over a distance capably of controlling its own universe. Michael uses too much and loses the control of the device, controlling its own life for the control over a distance. Of that time Michael sees the parts that it is worth while of his personal life that he lost working, and at the end of his life he lately concludes that the family comes first.
