Halley's Comet returns to the solar system and the English/American team aboard the shuttle "Churchill", making a close-up survey of the comet, discovers an alien spacecraft in the head of the comet. Inside the spacecraft are some large bat-like creatures and in three cocoons are three "dead" humans - two men and a woman. The "Churchill" takes the humans and a creature back to Earth. There the bosses of the project are amazed to find the shuttle burnt out and all but one of the crew - Carlsen - dead. The humans from the spacecraft suddenly awake and all those who come into contact with them are drained of their "lifeforce" and in time all the victims - including most of the population of London - are turned into zombies all praying on the horrified survivors for their "lifeforce". It's up to Carlsen and Major Caine of the SAS to stop them before the whole world turns into a big blood-hunt... |

Vada Sultenfuss has a holiday coming up, and an assignment: to do and essay on someone she admires and has never met. She decides she wants to do an assignment on her mother, but quickly realises she knows very little about her. She manages to get her father to agree to let her go to LA to stay with her Uncle Phil and do some research on her mother. Once in LA, she finds herself under the protection of Nick, the son of Phil's girlfriend, who at first is very annoyed at losing his holidays to escort a hick *girl* around town. However, he soon becomes more involved in the difficult search. |

In the futurist Great Britain, a group of adolescents does commotion each night, beating and snatching incompetent victims. After one of the boys abolishes a revolt in the group, they impress it and leave it for the police officer to find. He accepts to try *quot; the therapy of aversão*quot; to shorten his prayer of chain. When he is consequently left to go out, he hates the violence, but the rest of his members of group is still after him.
Na Grã-Bretanha futurista, um bando de adolescentes faz rebuliço cada noite, batendo e arrebatando vítimas incapazes. Depois que um dos rapazes suprime uma revolta no bando, eles impressionam-no e deixam-no para a polícia para encontrar. Ele aceita tentar "a terapia de aversão" para encurtar a sua oração de cadeia. Quando ele é conseqüentemente deixado sair, ele odeia a violência, mas o resto dos seus membros de bando são ainda depois dele. |
