Plot Summary:
If two colleagues are murdered by James Bond, follows James of the widow of a double agent who has been killed - and a confrontation follows. The double agent is a part of the NIGHTMARE, and the meeting of the organisation in a secret camp in Paris regrets the passing agent because it deals with new criminal business. Emilio Largo, pitiless and extravagant more one-eyed enforcer, has incubated a pattern against the powers of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization which begins in a rehabilitation clinic close to a flight base of RAF. Intended to the pilot a RAF Vulcan is the strategical bomber on normal *quot; ausfallsicheren*quot; the flight Francois Derval who has a passionate affair with the splendidly donated beauty Fiona Volpe - an affair these nightmare feats. Soon have still been kidnapped of the Vulcanus and his warload by two atom bombs, the bombs taken by the Largo for the use in the most daring extortion pattern of the NIGHTMARE. Nevertheless, James Bond finds a key tip in the sister of Francois Derval, Dominique *quot; Domino*quot; Derval, a nice young woman who is a passionate scuba diver who lives in Nassau. If James Domino examines, he enters into contact with a nightmare operation on the island, and he gets help of the man of HMS in Nassau, Pinder, and in the old CIA companion Felix Leiter. But if James and Felix find out for what NIGHTMARE is, it can be too late to save a main US-coastal city of the nuclear destruction.
Wenn zwei Kollegen von James Bond ermordet werden, folgt James der Witwe eines Doppelagenten, der getötet worden ist - und eine Konfrontation folgt. Der Doppelagent ist ein Teil des ALBTRAUMS, und die Sitzung der Organisation in einem heimlichen Lager in Paris bedauert den vorübergehenden Agenten, weil es sich mit neuem kriminellem Geschäft befasst. Bald sind der Vulcanus und sein warload von zwei Atombomben, die Bomben gegriffen durch das Largo für den Gebrauch im kühnsten Erpressungsschema des ALBTRAUMS noch entführt worden. James Bond findet jedoch einen Schlüsselhinweis in der Schwester von Francois Derval, Dominique "Domino" Derval, eine schöne junge Frau, die ein leidenschaftlicher Sporttaucher ist, der in Nassau lebt. Wenn James Domino untersucht, tritt er in Kontakt mit einer ALBTRAUM-Operation auf der Insel ein, und er bekommt Hilfe vom Mann von HMS in Nassau, Pinder, und im alten CIA Kameraden Felix Leiter. Aber wenn James und Felix herausfinden, bis wozu ALBTRAUM ist, kann es zu spät sein, um eine Haupt-US-Küstenstadt von der Kernvernichtung zu sparen.
