Plot Summary: 

In 1638 Reine de la France gives birth to a boy, who will inherit the throne one day. But, only known in few, there is a brother of twin there are the born minutes later. 22 years ago later, the king Louis XIV governs the country of France, but owing to his style of life and war prices, people are forced to be subjected to hunger and to poverty. Musketeers, who had served his father Louis XIII truthfully, only one is always on the side of the king: D’Artagnan, Capitain of the nurses of the king. The three companions Aramis, Athos and Porthos retired in civil life in the past. One day on a royal party, the young persons and loves the king accept a rush on Christine. This young lady is the fianc Ð and *185; of the soldier Raul, the son of Athos. Without agitation besides, the king makes recruit Raul and sent in war, so that he can himself be in charge of her. Soon Raul dies in battle and the king has it of the way. But Athos, Aramis and Porthos think of a plan to take revenge on the king. Aramis shows that there is a man in an iron mask in a very sure prison and that the existance of this man can resolve all present problems. Therefore they liberate the brother of twin hidden from the king and say him whom he is, as he feels of course without guilt and has no idea of very why it was imprisoned for 6 years with this mask forged around the head. Plan is now to replace the mediocre king with his brother in a party of masked ball held soon. Only D’Artagnan always keeps the king and therefore he must turn round against his old friends.

Dans 1638 Reine Anne de la France donne naissance à un garçon, qui héritera le trône un jour. Mais, seulement connu à peu, il y a un frère de jumeau il y a les minutes nées plus tard. Il y a 22 ans plus tard, le Roi Louis XIV gouverne le pays de la France, mais en raison de son style de vie et les prix de guerre, les gens sont forcés à subir la faim et la pauvreté. Des Mousquetaires, qui avaient servi son père Louis XIII fidèlement, seulement un est toujours sur le côté du roi : D’Artagnan, le Capitain des gardes du roi. Ses trois compagnons Aramis, Athos et Porthos ont pris sa retraite dans la vie civile jadis. Un jour sur un parti royal, les jeunes et a non aimé le roi reçoit une bousculade sur Christine. Cette jeune dame est le fianc Ð ¹ du soldat Raoul, le fils d’Athos. Sans agitation de plus, le roi fait recruter Raoul et envoyé à la guerre, pour qu’il lui-même puisse s’occuper d’elle. Bientôt Raoul meurt dans la bataille et le roi l’a de la voie. Mais Athos, Aramis et Porthos pensent à un plan de prendre la vengeance sur le roi. Aramis montre qu’il y a un homme dans un masque en fer dans une prison très sûre et que l’existance de cet homme peut résoudre tous les présents problèmes. Donc ils libèrent le frère de jumeau caché du roi et lui disent qui il est, comme il se sent évidemment sans culpabilité et n’a aucune idée du tout pourquoi il a été emprisonné depuis 6 ans avec ce masque forgé autour de sa tête. Le plan est maintenant de remplacer le méchant roi avec son frère à un parti de bal masqué tenu bientôt. Seulement D’Artagnan garde toujours le roi et donc il doit se retourner contre ses vieux amis.
