Plot Summary: 

The coroner and scientist Dr.. Rabbit warren Chapin (Vincent Price) investigates the shaking effect of the fear with his assistant David Morris (Darryl Hickman). Dr.. Rabbit warren becomes in Ollie Higgins (Philip Coolidge), the relative of a criminal condemns to the electric chair introduced, while he does the necropsy of the corpse, and he does a remark about the Tingler effect him. Ollie asks for lifting to Dr.. Alerter, and introduces his deaf-mute Mrs. Martha Higgins (Judith Evelyn) who leads a theatre of her own. Dr.. Alerter returns home where he lives with his disloyal and bad Mrs. Isabel Stevens Chapin (Patricia Cutts) and her sweet sister Lucy Stevens (Pamela Lincoln). Dr.. Alerter, upset with the situation with his wife, threatens and uses them as a subject of his experiment. If Martha dies of the fear, Dr.. Alerter does her necropsy and finds a being which lives within every person, feed with the fear and is controlled by the shout. As soon as Martha in the state was not to be shouted, was not done tingler harmlessly and became huge. If the being, Dr. flees. Alerters and Ollie go hunting to him in a crowded cinema.

Der Coroner und Wissenschaftler Dr. Kaninchenbau Chapin (Vincent Price) erforscht die zitternde Wirkung der Angst mit seinem Helfer David Morris (Darryl Hickman). Dr. Kaninchenbau wird in Ollie Higgins (Philip Coolidge), der Verwandte eines Verbrechers verurteilt zum elektrischen Stuhl eingeführt, indem er die Leichenöffnung des Leichnams macht, und er macht eine Anmerkung über die Tingler-Wirkung zu ihm. Ollie bittet um ein Heben dem Dr. Warner, und führt seine taubstumme Frau Martha Higgins (Judith Evelyn) ein, die ein Theater ihres eigenen führt. Dr. Warner kehrt nach Hause zurück, wo er mit seiner untreuen und schlechten Frau Isabel Stevens Chapin (Patricia Cutts) und ihre süße Schwester Lucy Stevens (Pamela Lincoln) lebt.
