Plot Summary:
Taran is an assistant pigkeeper with boyish dreams to become a big warrior. However, he must put aside the daydreaming if his accusation, an oracular pig is kidnapped called Hen Wen, by an evil as the Gehörnte king known man. The rascal hopes that chicken will show him the way to the black big kettle which has the power to create a gigantic army of unstoppable soldiers. Help of a stubborn princess, an exaggerating bard, and a bother being called Gurgi, Taran will try to save the world of Prydain of the Gehörnten king. Because the new friends see witches, elves, to magic swords, and the big kettle even in the face, Taran catches in to learn, what a hero to be, really signified, and that some things are more important than fame.
Taran ist ein Helfer pigkeeper mit jungenhaften Träumen, ein großer Krieger zu werden. Jedoch muss er die Träumerei beiseite legen, wenn seine Anklage, ein orakelhaftes Schwein genannt Hen Wen, durch ein Übel als der Gehörnte König bekannter Herr gekidnappt wird. Der Bengel hofft, dass Huhn ihm den Weg zum Schwarzen Großen Kessel zeigen wird, der die Macht hat, eine riesige Armee von unaufhaltsamen Soldaten zu schaffen. Mithilfe von einer störrischen Prinzessin, einem übertreibenden Barden, und einem Belästigen-Wesen genannt Gurgi, wird Taran versuchen, die Welt von Prydain vom Gehörnten König zu sparen. Weil die neuen Freunde Hexen, Elfen, magischen Schwertern, und dem Großen Kessel selbst ins Gesicht sehen, fängt Taran an zu lernen, was ein Held zu sein, wirklich bedeutet, und dass einige Dinge wichtiger sind als Ruhm.
