Plot Summary:
Holly Kennedy (Hillary Swank) is beautiful, elegant and married to the love of his life*mdash; a passionate, graceful, and impetuous Irish called Gerry (Gerard Butler). So when Gerry’s life is taken by an illness, this takes the life of the Holly. The only one who can help him is the person who is already not there. Nobody knows Holly better than Gerry. Then this is a good thing he glided for the future. Before he was dying, Gerry wrote the Holly a series of letters that will direct her, not only for his sorrow, but in the new discovery she herself. The first message comes in 30 birthdays of the Holly to the form of a cake, and to his finished shock, Gerry’s tape recording, which starts saying to him to go out *quot; and celebra*quot;. In the weeks and the months that continue, more Gerry’s letters are delivered in surprising ways, every mailing of her in a new adventure and each one dismissing in the same way; P. S. I love him. The mother of the holly (Kathy Bates) and the best friends (Gina Gershon) and Denise (Lisa Kudrow), begins to worry that Gerry’s letters keep the Holly tied to the past, but in fact, every letter pushes it additionally in a new future. With Gerry’s words as his guide, Holly he tackles a touch, exciting and the often most entertaining trip of the rediscovery in a history on marriage, friendship and since such a strong love can turn the definitive character of death into a new beginning for the life.
