Plot Summary:
The history *quot; on top and below and wieder*quot; of the musician Dewey Cox (John C. Reilly) whose songs would change a nation. On his Rock’N-role spiral, coxswain’s sleep with 411 women, marries three times, has 22 children and 14 stepkids, stars during his own TV show of the 70s, collects friends in the interval of Elvis to the Beatles to a chimpanzee, and is accustomed in (and then kicks) every narcotic famously to the man, but in spite of all his, coxswain grows into a national icon and earns, in the end, the love of a good woman.
Die Geschichte "oben und unten und wieder" des Musikers Dewey Cox (John C. Reilly), wessen Lieder eine Nation ändern würden. Auf seiner Rock’N-Rollenspirale, Steuermann-Schlaf mit 411 Frauen, heiratet dreimal, hat 22 Kinder und 14 stepkids, Sterne in seiner eigenen TV-Show der 70er Jahre, sammelt Freunde im Intervall von Elvis zu den Beatles zu einem Schimpansen, und wird an gewöhnt (und tritt dann) jedes Rauschgift bekannt dem Mann, aber trotz all dessen, Steuermann wächst in eine nationale Ikone hinein und verdient schließlich die Liebe einer guten Frau.
