Plot Summary:
Rannulph Junnah is the best golfer in the Savanna. He lives well and has a girl, Adele Invergordon, who is the daughter of a rich landowner. The First World war begins, nevertheless, and Junnah goes to Europe to fight. The surviving only one of a dangerous mission, Junnah does not return to the Savanna for 15 years. In 1930, he returns, and Adele’s father has already committed suicide during the Depression. Pressed for collectors of taxes to sell the golf course his father constructed to pay debts, Adele, now more old woman, oath of bringing to the Savanna the biggest party one day took advantage of the biggest golf course, his deceased father. She is capable of intimidating the 2 biggest golfers of his time, Bobby Jones and Walter Hagen to play for 10,000 dollars. The citizens insist on having *quot; one of his propios*quot; they compete also, and Rannulph Junnah is cornered. The Junnah now boy with vagabonds and he is an alcoholic, when he has lost his authentic oscillation of 15 years ago. At first he lowers the offer. He obtains his old men clubes and balls and begins to practise. He has lost his capacity. Suddenly, Bagger Vance is revealed. It offers to be the cart of Junnahs and to help him to recover his *quot; oscillation auténtica*quot;. He does, and Junnah consents in playing in the big party.
El Rannulph Junnah es el mejor golfista en la Sabana. Él vive bien y tiene a una muchacha, Adele Invergordon, que es la hija de un terrateniente rico.
