Plot Summary:
Six months after finding on Samara and her murderer’s video tape leave Rachel Keller and her son Aiden the city to live in a small rural city where they think that they are sure. Nevertheless, briefly after they come, hears Rachel about a university student who died nearby in the previous victims of Samara to similar relations. Now it seems that the life of Aiden is in danger of Samara once again, and Rachel must examine the past of the small girl if she wants to save her son.
Sechs Monate nach dem Antreffen auf Samara und ihre Mördervideokassette verlassen Rachel Keller und ihr Sohn Aiden die Stadt, um in einer kleinen ländlichen Stadt zu leben, wo sie denken, dass sie sicher sein werden. Kurz nachdem sie jedoch ankommen, hört Rachel über einen Universitätsstudenten, der in der Nähe in den vorigen Opfern von Samara ähnlichen Verhältnissen starb. Jetzt scheint es, dass das Leben von Aiden in Gefahr von Samara noch einmal ist, und Rachel die Vergangenheit des kleinen Mädchens untersuchen muss, wenn sie ihren Sohn retten will.
