Storyline

Plot Summary:
Under the watchful eye of his mentor’s captain Mike Kennedy (Travolta) test firefighter Jack Morrison (phoenix) becomes ripe in a ripe ex-serviceman in a Baltimorer fire guard. Nevertheless, Jack has reached crossroads because the victims which he is done have brought him in the way of the damage countless times and have pressed together knowingly his respect with his wife and children. On the worst flame in his career answering, he is caught within a 20-storied building. And because he thinks about his life, now assistant’s boss Kennedy co-ordinates desperately the strain to save him.
Unter dem wachsamen Auge seines Mentor-Kapitäns Mike Kennedy (Travolta) wird Probefeuerwehrmann Jack Morrison (der Phönix) in einen reifen Veteran an einer Baltimorer Feuerwache reif. Jack hat Straßenkreuzungen jedoch erreicht, weil die Opfer, die er gemacht wird, ihn auf die Weise des Schadens unzählige Zeiten gebracht und bedeutsam seine Beziehung mit seiner Frau und Kindern zusammengepresst haben. Auf die schlechteste Flamme in seiner Karriere antwortend, wird er gefangen innerhalb eines 20-stöckigen Gebäudes. Und weil er über sein Leben nachdenkt, jetzt koordiniert Helfer-Chef Kennedy verzweifelt die Anstrengung, ihn zu retten.
