Plot Summary:
Sophisticated New York pair David and Annie Smith has an unusual marriage with an immoderate number of rules and regulations. A rule entitles them to put to each other a question per month to which the other must answer absolutely honestly. Annie asks David if he married them again if he could have the time again and entrusts with David him, he misses his freedom and would not become so probably. Later during this day, an official of the city where they married phone calls to see David. He explains that as a result of a state border quarrel all pairs were married married between 1936 and 1939 in the county not legally. David decides to have fun with this fact, but unknown to him, the county official phone calls, to see Annie also and disaster results.
Hoch entwickeltes New Yorker Paar David und Annie Smith hat eine ungewöhnliche Ehe mit einer unmäßigen Zahl von Regeln und Regulierungen. Eine Regel berechtigt sie, einander eine Frage pro Monat zu stellen, der der andere völlig ehrlich antworten muss. Annie fragt David, wenn er sie wieder heiraten würde, wenn er die Zeit wieder haben konnte und David dem anvertraut, verpasst er seine Freiheit und würde so wahrscheinlich nicht. Später an diesem Tag, ein Beamter von der Stadt, wo sie sich Anrufe verheirateten, David zu sehen. Er erklärt, dass infolge eines Zustandgrenzstreits alle Paare geheiratet zwischen 1936 und 1939 in der Grafschaft nicht gesetzlich verheiratet waren. David entscheidet sich dafür, Spaß mit dieser Tatsache, aber unbekannt zu ihm, die Grafschaft offizielle Anrufe zu haben, Annie auch und Katastrophe-Ergebnisse zu sehen.
