Plot Summary:
Elmo McElroy (Jackson) is a chemist of American master streetwise who heads in England to sell its new special expression - powerful, blue ready-to-wear clothes promised to take you in ‘ the 51th state. ‘ The new product of McElroy delivers a feeling of 51 more powerful times than any shiver, any pleasure, a bit high in history. But his plans for a quick, beneficial score go in a funny way of foible when it is taken in Liverpool with an unlikely escort (Carlyle) and his ex-girlfriend (Mortimer) and becomes complicated in a strange web of double sale and of double crucifixes.
